Savchenko Sergey

(born in 1949 )

Sergey Savchenko was born in Odessa. In 1974 he graduated from Odessa School of Art (taught by A. Loza). In 1988 he joined NUAU. He took part in Odessa non-conformist movement as well. Sergey was also an active member of the creative union “Mamay”. His works are exhibited in OMMA (Odessa Museum of Modern Art) , they are also kept in numerous private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Sad Vasiliy
 (Born in 1948)

He was born in the village of Bolshie Telkovichi near Rovno. In 1977 he graduated from GOAC. He has taken active part in exhibition activity since 1984. He is a member of the creative union «Mamay». He has been a member of NUAU since 1992. His works are in the collections of OMMA, KMMA and in private collections in Ukraine and abroad as well.

Silantiev Alexander
 (Born in 1971)

He was born in Odessa. He studied at GOAC from 1988 till 1994, at Odessa Academy of Arts from 1994 till 1996, at the Art and graphics department of UOSPU since 2004. He has been a member of ONUAU since 2000. He has taken active part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Odessa, Lvov and Moscow. His works are presented at OMMA and in private collections..

Sleshinsky Orest
 (1930--2008)

He was born in Smolensk. In 1953 he graduated from GOAC, and in 1965 from Repin Leningrad Art Institute. From 1956 till 1975 he taught at GOAC. In the 90s he taught painting at the Art and graphics department of UOSPU. He was a member of NUAU since 1970. He was an Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1993. His works are kept in the museums and art galleries in Ukraine and abroad and in numerous private exhibitions.

Sokolov Oleg
 (1919 – 1990)

He was born in Odessa. He studied at GOAC from 1935 till 1939. He took part in the Great Patriotic War. In 1947 he entered Lvov Applied and Decorative Arts Institute. One year later he returned to GOAC, he graduated from in 1951. From 1955 till his death he worked as a scientific associate for Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art. He was a predecessor of the second wave of Odessa avant-garde. He was the first Odessa Soviet artist- abstractionist. He took part in numerous unofficial expositions and actions. His works are included into the exposition of OMMA and other museums; they are also kept in prestigious private collections

Spindovskaya-Palamar Oksana
(Born in 1972)

She studied at GOAC from 1988 till 1994, then at the International Academy of Arts (Odessa) from 1994 till 1995 and at the Art and graphics department of UOSPU from 1999 till 2001. She has been a member of the Youth Association of NUAU since 1998. She has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Odessa, Kiev and Moscow. Her works are included into the exposition of OMMA
