Filipenko Valentyn

(Born in 1935)
He graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St.Petersburg (Russia) in 1962. He has been a member of NUAU since 1969. He is an Honored Artist of Ukraine. He has taken part in exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia and abroad since 1966. His works are kept at OAM, OMMA and in Private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Freidin Alexander

(1926 - 1984)

He was born in Odessa. From the beginning of the war he lived in evacuation in the town of Buguruslan. Since 1942 he worked in Buguruslan and in Kuibyshev as a technician. In 1948 he came back to Odessa. He entered GOAC (taught by L. I. Tokareva - Alexandrovich), but he left in 1951 owing to some personal reasons. He worked as a painter at the painting department of the complex of the Art Foundation. Later started working at A. Atsmanchuk’s workshop. In 1964 he became a member of the Union of Artists. In 1956 he began taking active part in region and republican exhibitions. He held his three solo exhibitions at GOAC. His works are exhibited at OAM, OMMA and other museums of Ukraine; they are also kept in numerous private collections.

Furlet Anatoliy

 (Born in 1958)

 He was born in the village of Cheponosi near Chernovtsy. In 1976 he graduated from an art school in the town of Hotin (taught by Mikhail Kirilenko). In 1983 he graduated from the Art and graphics department of UOPI (taught by V. Gegamyan, Z. Borisyuk). He is a member of NUAU. He lives and works in the town of Bucha near Kiev. His works are kept in the Fund of OMMA and also in numerous private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
