The Museum of Odesa Modern Art and the Humor magazine “Fontan” present the April Fool’s vernissage “ECHO OF LAUGHTER”.

Odesa humor is one of the important components of the Odesa myth. The echo of Odesa laughter is present in various spheres of modern culture. Conducting of KVN in the 60s and Humorin in the 70s is undoubtedly an important cultural phenomenon, the influence of which on some features of the emergence of modern visual art in Odesa in the early 80s is quite obvious.

At the opening Vernissage, works from famous Odesa cartoonists, authors of poetic and prose miniatures and aphorisms, as well as archival photographs of Humorin, which took place from 1973 to 1976 and from 1988 to 2013, will be presented from the archives of the Fountain magazine.
