Non-abstract art : Mikhail Palinchak

From 15 December 2017 to 28 January 2018 in the Museum of Odesa Modern Art will be presented a personal photo-exhibition of Mikhail Palinchak “Non-abstract art“.

Mikhail Palinchak is a well-known Kyiv photographer. He was born in Uzhgorod. He is a current member of the Ukrainian Photographic Alternative (UPHA).

Participant of a large number of exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad. Mikhail’s photographs have been published all over the world, including the New York Times, Spiegel, Le Monde, Paris Match, Figaro, etc.

The main feature of the exhibition is the attempt to rethink reality through the prism of abstract aesthetics. Mikhail’s eye is sensitive to the subtle graphic changes in the environment. The light that lies on the surface in a special way, fragments and details, among which may be a spot on the wall or a road covered with cracks. All of this takes on a special sound under the gaze, which elevates the story to a whole new plane – a complex visual work.
