He was one of the brightest personalities in the country. His intelligence, talent and charisma allowed him to disagree and overcome any difficulties in life and work. He did not allow the cultural life of the city to turn into a swamp. Oleksandr was a magnet that attracted talented employees and generous patrons to work on changing the cultural landscape of the city. Thanks to him, the Odesa Fine Art Museum has become a model of how a state institution can become advanced and prosperous if it is run by a self-reliant and independent person.
His friends and enemies will be arguing about him, his personality, and his achievements for a long time to come. This means that he has not left many people indifferent.
